Maybe I had unrealistic expectations, but for the price I was expecting this bag to last through 2 kids. It will not (though perhaps no bag will). I was very happy with the bag for the first 10 months. The hobo style of the bag is really cute. At first glance, it looked too small, but I was able to fit everything I needed in it. As other reviewers mentioned, the bottle pockets are too small for bottles, but I never needed them for that and used them instead to hold an umbrella and my phone. After 10 months, the seam holding the strap on one side ripped. I sewed it back on and a month or so later, the seam on the other side ripped. So I sewed that one back on too, and was able to use the bag for about another year and a half. This sounds like a long time, but I work full-time, so I was really only using the bag on weekends and holidays. I will say that the water-resistant char/lime dot fabric easily wipes clean and even now after over 2 years is in very good shape.
